The Brief:
This double A-Side promotional 12″ is from Foreigner’s 1987 LP ‘Inside Information’. It was the second single released from the album. It entered the Billboard Hot 100 at #64 on March 19, 1988 and stayed on the chart for 17 weeks reaching #5 as its highest position. It also went to #18 on the Mainstream Rock chart and hit #1 on the Adult Contemporary chart. It was Foreigner’s last Top 40 hit. The remix on this record was shipped to pop radio and is 1:02 shorter than the album cut. Songwriting credit goes to Mick Jones.
