The Brief:
From his debut album ’24/7′, released in 1989, here is “I Like It” from Dino. It’s the first of three singles from the album. It entered the Hot 100 chart on May 13, 1989 at #89 and stayed on the chart for 25 weeks, making it all the way to #7. It also hit the R&B Singles chart on May 27, 1989 where it climbed to #25 and remained on the chart for 16 weeks. The track was written by Dino and the remixing was done by Gail “Sky” King.

I was doing weekend mixes on a pop/crossover station in ’89 when this record was popular. it was such a big record! I can still see white people doing the running man when i hear this song lol. thanks for the musical memories
