The Brief:
In 1987-1988, Def Leppard was seemingly all over the place. In August of 1987 they released their fourth album, ‘Hysteria’. The album produced four Top 10 singles, sold over 20 million copies and reached #1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart where it charted for over three years. “Armageddon It” was the sixth single released from the album and was part of a string of 10 consecutive Top 40 singles released by the band. The single was the Power Pick/Sales track for the week of 12/17/88.
