The Brief:
‘Stand Up’ is the third of 4 singles released from Diamond Dave’s 1988 platinum album “Skyscraper”. The song only reached #64 on Billboard’s Hot 100 but, did climb to #5 on the Mainstream Rock Tracks chart and managed to get to #72 on the UK Singles Chart. The song was written by David Lee Roth and Brett Tuggle. Remixer on this release is Francois Kevorkian.

I never knew these tracks were released as remixes. “Skyscraper” was not as strong as “Eat ‘em”, but it had it’s moments for sure. Thanks for digging this one out of the crates.
