The Brief:
“Heavy On My Mind” was the fifth and final single released from 1986′s ‘Life, Love and Pain’, the debut album for Club Nouveau. ‘Life, Love and Pain’ was a highly successful LP, spawning 4 Top 10 (3 Top 5′s) R&B hits and a #1 Top 40. The album went to #2 on the Hot Black Albums and #6 on the Billboard 200 charts. This 12″ features the “The Club Nouveau Sky King Mini-Medley” by Gail “Sky” King and remix work on the “Heavy On My Mind” tracks by Junior Vasquez.
