The Brief:
1988′s ‘Affair’ album was the third LP in Cherrelle‘s career and was again produced by the duo of Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis. ‘Affair’ didn’t quite have the chart success of her previous album, going to #106 on the Billboard 200 and #15 on the Hot Black Albums charts. This 12″ features the title track from that album and was the first single released from ‘Affair’.
