You’re welcome ND
I was Kaaaa-rayzee over this in 1982, alongside Evelyn King’s Love Come Down.
And only #39 in the Hot 100? Blhhhhhhhh!
At least it was a Top 10 winner in the UK, and a well deserved 3 week stay atop the Hot Dance Charts!
Thanks Richie for another FWV Rip!
You’re welcome Ric. “Love Come Down” is one of my all-time fave tunes!
Thanks for share this “very har to find” gem with us, Great underestimated song, really takes yu bak in time. Never had the chance to see the maxi-single, now I got it complete thanks to you.
you’re welcome my friend, enjoy!
Thanks for this one! I have several vinyl copies of this song, but all are 4.43 minutes. Good quality also.
Speaking of which, i also downloaded the Herb Alpert promo, but i’m afraid settings of de-clicker is far too strong. It not only deleted crackles and clicks but also parts of the beat, which makes it sound like the needle is at the point of skipping, which happened in the past when mastering wasn’t done right (too much low end mostly). Personally i rather have some crackles in the end. But don’t get me wrong, really appreciate your hard work.
Regards, Frank
you’re welcome Frank
Went back and re-read your comment, could you be more specific on the Herb Alpert set? Is it that way over the entire set or just particular tracks?
Hi, thanks for respons. It’s mainly ‘Diamonds’. Kickdrum is cut-off. Maybe you can e-mail me. Hope to be of some help.
