Larry Blackmon, a graduate of Julliard, created Cameo in 1974. The group originally consisted of 23 members! By 1986, when the LP ‘Word Up!’ was released, the group was down to being a trio consisting of Blackmon, Tomi Jenkins and Nathan Leftenant. “Back And Forth” was the third single to be released from that album.

I love some Cameo
Thanks
Thank you! Totally forgot about this one
Wicked! Hopefully the start of a Cameo-thon!
Oh yes! Hope you have even more Cameo lined up, one of my favourite bands. Thanks
Cameo was red “codpiece” hot in the mid 80s!
She’s Strange and Single Life paved the way, but the trinity of Word Up, Candy and this really showed their R&Brilliance! So funky, but still so cool!
Great post, Richie!
Great Release!!!
Thanks a lot
Thanks Richie. I didn’t have this one until now.
