Very cool! I was hoping you’d post this 12″ :)

I’m in the USA and the new host connected right away, no waiting period, but the speed is averaging 50 KB/s, which is pretty slow. The download should complete in 1.3 hours :D Speeds can vary for any number of reasons though so it’ll take a few more downloads to see if that speed is normal or not.

Looks like that finishes up the Apollonia discography! As a “competetist” I am very grateful to have your GREAT rips…BIG BIG thanks!!!

  3. Patrick says:

Taking about 29 minutes in the UK, which is slow

  4. ric says:

This host doesn’t even work for me :-(

    • djrichiep says:

crap, you can’t connect to it at all?

      • ric says:

yeah…all i get is error page…I’m not from UK…from SE Asia. Mediafire has been the best individual host so far. Hope it stays unscathed, but the limit for a free account is a hassle for some. But I don’t mind.

  5. Andee says:

About 1hour 39, in UK and that’s at six in the morning

In this post-Megaupload-shutdown environment, I am looking for a file host that will provide stability and long-term retention. If it is a bit slower than what you are used to, I’m sorry. I’m a bit concerned if you can’t get to it at all, as Ric commented, that’s a problem. I’m a bit confused why that is though? Ric, aren’t you in the UK? Other UK readers are saying they can get the files, just slowly. Personally, I’ve been pleased with share4web so far, I’m able to upload and manage the files via FTP. File retention is 120 days after the last download. So, I should be able to get all the older files uploaded over time and have minimal need to repost files. That’s the important points for me. Gonna stick with this for a few more days and see what happens. I’ve already got a report that Saturday’s files on uploading.to are down to one link being active. That’s not gonna cut it for the long term.

    • djrichiep says:

Well, nevermind, not looking good this morning… all I get for the links now is: This site is not available from your location

      • Chris Bennett says:

Hi Rich, I’m downloading from Hong Kong with no problem. The download time is a bit slow (around 28 Kb/sec), but better than nothing! Many thanks!

        • djrichiep says:

Well, it’s not gonna work for me, apparently share4web/unibytes/gigabase have blocked US IP’s from reaching them so, now it’s on to another multiple upload site to try out. Pushing files up to Mirrorcreator right now. Gonna give that one a try for a while and see. sigh

You could try MediaFire, they’ve been around a while and have a good reputation. Their deletion policy seems like it might work well as they claim they will send an email before deleting a file for inactivity.

    • djrichiep says:

Just checked them out, might be a good way to go. I assume it is accessible worldwide?

      • djrichiep says:

One nit that I pick with Mediafire, file size is limited to 200mb. I know how to split RAR files, etc. But, that’s a little annoying. But, my earlier point, file availability is #1, right?

        • woz says:

Ah, I forgot to check the file size limit :( Although yes, as long as we can get it, it’s all good. What about badongo.com? File size limit is 1gb and unlimited storage space and 90 day deletion after last download. Not bad for free. And they even send you a message in your account inbox before they delete.

  8. SuzyLovelace says:

Don’t know about anyone else, but the first track was corrupt for me when I unrar’ed it (Winrar), I downloaded the file twice. Might’ve been winrar, I dunno (I had it already had the mix from fwv torrents on demonoid, but thought it worth pointing out if anyone else had the same snag?)

It was slower to download than usual, both times going about 40kbps – but I concur that file retention is more important than speed. :)

  9. Paul MacD says:

Yeah I’m in USA and can’t get access to this either. Mediafire or Wupload possibly?
