The Brief:
The first three singles released in Andy Gibb’s music career hit #1, making him the first solo artist in the history of the U.S. pop charts to have their first three singles hit the number one spot and the first male solo artist to chart three consecutive number one singles on the Billboard Hot 100. The LP ‘Shadow Dancing’ went to #7 on the Billboard 200 albums chart and earned a Platinum record award. “Shadow Dancing”, the single, spent 7 weeks at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1978 and also earned Platinum status.
