As with his first LP, Andre Cymone wrote and produced all the tracks on his second solo effort, ‘Survivin’ In The 80’s’. Further sharpening the production skills that would prove successful later in his career. The title track and “Make Me Wanna Dance” were released as singles.

Great album, self-categorized as ‘New Wave Funk’ on its cover. The “Funky Town Grooves” label did a great cd reissue a year ago, including the 12″ mixes and instrumentals of ‘Survivin’ In The 80′s’ and ‘Make Me Wanna Dance’. It’s still available at reasonable prices.
