Reminds me how much Prince stole his visual style (and new wave influences) from Andre…
Though to be fair, the character everyone thinks of as Morris Day, is actually 100% Prince.

I have never liked Andre’s stuff very much and I am not too sure he really wrote “Controversy”, but Prince must have lifted the man-kini thing from Mr. Cymone!

You HAVE to admit the Back Cover ”Outfit” is in the ‘Mankini’ Style.
The 1st bunch are by Top Fashion names (Alexander McQueen etc)
The 2nd are the ‘Cheap Copies’ I ‘spose.
Yet ALL of Them are Just AWFUL and a pure Joke !
What kind of guy Would wear anything in this style & think he looked ‘Cool’
Is beyond me – I think secretly ‘said Designers’ are just having a laugh…….xx
