The Brief:
The third single from ‘Hearsay’ is “Never Knew Love Like This”. The song is a duet that, for a second time, paired Alexander O’Neal with Cherrelle. “Never Knew Love Like This” almost exactly mirrored the success of their previous hit duet “Saturday Love”. It was the last Top 40 charting single on the Billboard Hot 100 for Alex.
