The Brief:
Today’s post is the first in an eight post series of 7″ single releases by Alexander O’Neal. “Innocent” is the debut single by O’Neal from his freshman effort simply titled ‘Alexander O’Neal’. That debut LP went to #21 on the Billboard Hot Black Albums chart and hit #92 on the Billboard 200. The album was produced by Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis’ Flyte Tyme Productions.
