The second album in the musical career of Alexander O’Neal was ‘Hearsay’ which was another Flyte Tyme Productions masterpiece. The LP went on to reach #2 on the Billboard Hot Black Albums chart and #29 on the Billboard 200. “Fake” is the first single from the album. “Fake” reached the #1 spot on the Billboard Hot Black Singles chart and held on to that spot for 2 weeks.

Hey Rich is it just me or is there some static the first few second of Fake on the flac version?
this record wasn’t in the best shape, cheap quality vinyl I guess, just deteriorated over time…
