The Brief:
In the late 80′s Teddy Riley produced a girl group called Abstrac’. Mary Brown, Topaz, and Marsha McClurkin made up the female dance music trio from the East Coast. Their one and only self-titled album was released in 1989 and spawned this minor hit “Right and Hype”.
